In 2025, companies belonging to BGV Group Management, the investment firm founded by Gennadii Butkevych, paid a total of UAH 678 million in taxes and duties to national and local budgets. Compared to the previous year, the group’s tax payments increased by UAH 256 million.
These payments were made to both national and local budgets, with the majority generated from the group’s operational activities across various sectors of the economy. BGV, as an investment group with a diversified portfolio, unites nearly 50 companies across five sectors: mining, development, retail, energy and infrastructure, and education and sports.
Among the group’s largest taxpayers were: ARETAIL LLC (which operates the KOLO chain of stores), “Zeleny Park” LLC (a paper plant), Aeroc LLC (manufacturer of Poriston-brand aerated concrete), and Football Club “Polissya.”
The group notably contributed to the municipal and regional budgets of Zhytomyr and the Zhytomyr region, ranking among the top taxpayers in the area. In 2025, BGV companies and founder Gennadii Butkevych together paid UAH 110 million to local budgets, with major contributions from “Hranitnyi Karyer” LLC, FC “Polissya,” and Butkevych himself.
“Taxes are a direct investment of the business in the nation’s economy and resilience. Behind BGV’s tax figures is the daily work of dozens of companies, more than 2,000 jobs, and systematic efforts across the regions. Timely tax payment is also an investment in the state’s ability to provide basic services, support communities, and fund reconstruction projects. For us, it’s essential to remain a responsible and reliable taxpayer — this is our part of the national responsibility,” said Oleksandr Naumyk, Chairman of the Board of Directors at BGV Group Management.
