CRH has completed an agreement with the investment group BGV to acquire a majority stake (51%) in PORISTON GROUP LLC, the owner of Poriston LLC in Ukraine. The company owns production facilities for autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) blocks marketed under the Poriston brand.

Under the terms of the agreement, CRH will become the majority shareholder, while BGV Group Management will retain a 49% stake and remain a strategic partner, supporting the development of the resource base and driving Poriston’s continued growth.

Poriston is one of Ukraine’s largest producers of autoclaved aerated concrete. The company’s products are central to supporting critical housing and infrastructure reconstruction projects across the country.
