Gennadii Butkevych
Founder of BGV Group
He is a well-known Ukrainian businessman, ranked 16th among the 100 richest Ukrainians in 2020 according to Forbes Ukraine with $415 million.
Mr. Butkevych was born in 1958 in Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine. Graduated from
the Dnipropetrovsk Civil Engineering Institute and Oles’ Honchar Dnipropetrovsk National University, Legal Department. Co-owner of ATB Corporation and a member of the Supervisory Board of ATB Corporation, Dnipropetrovsk.
Patron of sports, founder of “Dnepr Open” amateur tennis tournament, sponsors the Ukrainian horse riding national youth sports team. Rewarded with numerous social honors from the President of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Parliament, Ministries and Agencies of Ukraine, trade organization and foundations. Provided financial support in the development of local Christian churches, restored and donated the building of an old synagogue to Jewish community.
Mr. Butkevich is married and has 2 daughters.
Oleksandr Naumyk
Head of the Board
Alexander, having a legal background of more than 10 years,
has also an impressive managerial background. He spent the last
15 years in various top level managerial positions, 10 of those years
he headed Mr. Butkevich family office and in 2016
transitioned to lead the BGV Group.
Sergii Voitsekhovskyi
Member of the Board
Sergey has 16 years of experience in managerial roles, including within
Ukraine’s largest retail business, ATB Supermarkets. In 2018 he joined
BGV Group where he is responsible for implementing the company’s
strategic initiatives. Serhii holds a Master’s degree in Finance
and Executive MBA from Kyiv-Mohyla Business School.
VIKTORIIA LAVREHA
Member of the Board
Victoria has 20+ years of managerial experience both on the corporate
sides and as being an entrepreneur. She has an extensive background in
development and engineering, financial advisory services. In 2011 she
joined BGV Group where she is responsible for the company’s financial
strategy and resources.
Viktor Tanay
Member of the Board
Victor has extensive background in geology – more than 30 years.
He spent the last 20 years in leadership positions within iron ore,
flux-dolomite, titanium, coal projects in both Ukraine and Russia.
He has rich experience in working with design organizations.
Oleksii Tymofieiev
Member of the Board
Oleksii Tymofieiev has more than 25 years of general experience in the corporate sector of Ukraine and more than 15 years in managerial positions in the largest public and private companies of Ukraine. Has expertise in the energy, mining, and manufacturing industries. In 2023 he joined BGV Group Management where he is responsible for the company’s investment strategy implementation.

YURII BAKARZHIEV
CEO, “Atomic Energy Systems of Ukraine” LLC (BGV Group Management)
— the first privately owned company in Ukraine
to develop uranium deposits. Yurii has 35 years
of experience in the subsoil usage within Ukraine,
South Africa, Canada. He has extensive within
the sector . Since 1998 he is an International Atomic
Energy Agency expert, and is one of the authors
of the Red Book.
DENYS ZDORENKO
Chief Financial Officer
Denys has 15+ years of extensive experience within
the areas such as investment, M&A, accounting,
budgeting & planning, treasury, financial supervision
and advisory. Denys started out in Deloitte, one
of 4 consulting and auditing companies and then
gradually transitioned to key managerial roles within
UA based holding companies. Denys is a graduate
of Ternopil Economic Academy , MS in Finance.
Now he is on his way to obtain Executive MBA
from Kyiv-Mohyla Business School.
MICHAL MYSLIWIEC
Geologist
with more than 30 years broad professional
experience in petroleum exploration geology. He is
currently focused on the management of exploration
projects and specializes in the assessment
and management of new exploration and production
assets (geology, geophysics and economics).
Artur Martynenko
Head of GR, PM
Joined BGV Group Management in 2019, where he is responsible for government
relations, risk management in the areas of regulatory policy and managing the Group’s
investment projects. He has 15 years of legal background and expertise in litigation,
corporate and commercial law, real estate, investment & privatization projects. He
obtained a law degree from T. Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and an Executive
MBA from Kyiv-Mohyla Business School.
Kateryna Burkova
Assistant Manager
Kateryna graduated from the Kyiv National Linguistic
University. Most of her career was held in
administrative positions in the service and retail;
have experience in entrepreneurial activity.
At the moment, she is involved in organizing
interaction between the company’s employees,
administering work schedules for Members
of the Board of Directors, and organizing
corporate events.
