Recently BGV Group Management has started to implement investment projects in the Kharkiv region. Here the company is actively developing two areas of business. The main focus is investing in oil and gas production. BGV Group Management has several production sites in the Chuguiv district of the Kharkiv region.

“Our company usually invests in so-called green field projects. That is, we don’t wait until someone finds oil and gas, builds a well, measures the conditional amount of reserves and sells it to us for further operation. We enter and invest in the project right at the beginning, take risks, independently conduct geo-exploration work and look for production potential. And I hope that very soon our company will present a completely new field in the Kharkiv region. This means that we’ll also be able to talk about new jobs for residents of the region and large revenues to local budgets,” said a Member of the Board of Directors of BGV Group Management Serhii Voitsekhovskyi at the “Ukraine Invest Talks: Make in UA. Investment Opportunities for Regional Development” international forum, which recently took place in Kharkiv.

The second direction of investment is cooperation with the State Enterprise “Scientific and Technological Center ‘Beryllium'” of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Such cooperation is very promising for BGV Group Management, as the company has a unique fields of beryllium ores with approved deposits in its reserves and a new special permit for 20 years. Beryllium is a rare metal that has a unique combination of physical and mechanical properties and is suitable for a wide range of applications. For example, it is used for manufacturing innovative devices and space equipment, telecommunications infrastructure equipment and computers, devices in medical and automotive fields, and for manufacturing modern aircraft and ensuring the defense capabilities of countries; beryllium is an important component of weapons, guidance systems, surveillance and intelligence.
