AEROC plants relaunch on the market under new brand PORISTON
The former Aeroc factories are re-entering the building materials market under the new brand name PORISTON. Beginning in June 2025, the company’s team will restart production and launch PORISTON aerated concrete blocks sales. The product range will include five categories: wall blocks, U blocks, partition blocks, reinforced products, and thermal insulation materials.
Before the full-scale war, Aeroc LLC was among the largest manufacturers of aerated concrete structures. The company’s new owner, Trident Geoinvest Ukraine LLC—part of Gennadii Butkevych’s BGV Group Management investment group—is executing a strategy for a complete relaunch of the plants. Their ambitious objectives include not only recovering lost market share but also expanding it.
The active process of streamlining the systematic operation of the enterprises, which began in April 2024, is now nearing completion. With two plants in the Kyiv region—Berezan and Obukhiv—the company can produce more than 1.15 million cubic meters of finished products annually. The company is also working on expanding its production capabilities and preparing to launch additional facilities.
“The new name PORISTON (combining ‘porous’ and ‘stone’) is all about balance. It’s a smart mix of lightness, making building faster and easier, and strength, guaranteeing durability and safety. This approach allows people to build confidently, and it’s chosen by those who care about real quality, not just talk. And the brand identity was developed for us by the creative and marketing agency HAVAS Ukraine” said Oleksandr Naumyk, CEO of BGV Group Management.
As a reminder, in December 2024, Trident Geoinvest Ukraine LLC (part of the BGV Group Management business group) acquired the AEROC aerated concrete plants at an open auction. The deal, valued at nearly UAH 1.9 billion, became one of the largest privatization transactions of 2024. The proceeds were transferred to the state budget and allocated to the fund to mitigate the consequences of Russia’s armed aggression.
