KOLO ranks among Ukraine’s top grocery chains
The KOLO store chain, part of the BGV Group Management holding, has been recognized in the 2025 FMCG operator rankings published by the Retailers Association of Ukraine (RAU). According to the study, KOLO is featured in two categories: “Largest Chains” and “Most Dynamic Chains.”
In the overall ranking of Ukraine’s largest grocery retailers, the KOLO “near home” store chain placed sixth. Notably, KOLO ranks second among convenience store chains in terms of the number of outlets. Its inclusion in the top ten most dynamic chains highlights the company’s rapid development, active expansion, and significant growth in key business indicators.
“In 2025, sales of the KOLO chain increased by 22.3% compared to the previous year, which indicates stable demand and growing customer loyalty. These results allowed us to make a significant contribution to the country’s economy by paying UAH 267.1 million in taxes at various levels. We will continue to expand the network and develop the convenient ‘near home’ store format,” said Denys Zdorenko, CEO of KOLO.
As of the end of 2025, the KOLO chain operates 251 stores in the Kyiv and Odesa regions, with a total sales area of 17,360 square meters. Over the past year, the company expanded further by opening 18 new stores, adding 1,220 square meters of sales space. In this way, KOLO continues to systematically strengthen its presence in the “near home” store segment.
As the chain continues to grow, KOLO is creating new jobs. Over the past year, the company’s workforce increased by 79 employees, with 67 positions added in stores due to the opening of new locations and team expansions, and 12 new roles created at the company’s office.
