The BGV group of companies and its founder, Gennadii Butkevych, ranked among the leading taxpayers in the Zhytomyr city territorial community at the close of the year. According to the presentation of Zhytomyr’s draft budget for 2026, their significant contributions as key personal income tax payers played an essential role in shaping the community’s revenue base.

FC Polissya is demonstrating strong results both on and off the field, significantly boosting its contributions to the city’s finances. In 2025, the football club is set to generate approximately UAH 60 million in tax revenues for the budgets of Zhytomyr and the surrounding region—one of the highest totals among local taxpayers. According to figures from the Zhytomyr City Council, FC Polissya ranked second in the city’s taxpayer rankings, surpassed only by JSC Zhytomyrblenergo. Overall, the club is projected to pay a total of around UAH 130 million in taxes in 2025.

Also among Zhytomyr’s top 15 key taxpayers is Gennadii Butkevych, president of FC Polissya and founder of the BGV Group Management conglomerate. Notably, he is the only private individual to appear on the list.

In addition, LLC ATB-MARKET also ranks among the top ten taxpayers in Zhytomyr. Personal income tax remains a vital source of funding for the city’s budget, playing a crucial role in maintaining the community’s financial stability. The transparent and responsible payment of taxes by businesses forms the foundation for the development of urban infrastructure, the support of social programs, and the implementation of key strategic initiatives in Zhytomyr.
