BGV Group Management participated in a meeting of the Joint Ukrainian-Saudi Business Council in Riyadh, which brought together representatives from government institutions, sectoral organizations, and leading companies from Ukraine and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The event marked an important step in strengthening bilateral economic ties and expanding investment cooperation.
The Ukrainian delegation in Riyadh included representatives of private companies in key sectors of the economy, which together employ more than 150,000 people and account for about 4% of Ukraine’s GDP. The combined value of the projects presented in the Saudi capital exceeded $1 billion.
During the event, BGV Group Management signed memorandums of understanding with two companies in the construction sector. The documents outline plans for further talks, joint opportunities, and planning of steps toward potential projects.
The BGV team also participated in a UNIDO conference, where it discussed areas of future cooperation with partners from Saudi Arabia. The company also joined the promotional event “Investment Dialogue: Mobilizing Gulf Capital for Sustainable Industrial Growth in Ukraine,” during which it presented its investment initiatives, including projects in the mining sector.
Following the Business Council meeting, the parties agreed to set up sector-specific working groups, develop a cooperation roadmap, and plan a future meeting in an expanded format. The event highlighted strong interest from businesses and institutions in both countries in pursuing joint strategic projects and building a long-term partnership.
