BGV represents Ukraine at PDAC, world’s largest mining exhibition
BGV Group Management took part in PDAC, the leading international exhibition and conference on geological exploration, mineral extraction, and mining industry investments. The Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada organizes the event annually in Toronto. Held from March 2 to 5, this year’s exhibition brought together over 27,000 participants, including mining company representatives, investors, government officials, and scientists from over 135 countries. BGV Group Management was one of two companies representing Ukraine at PDAC. Gennadii Butkevych’s investment group presented its own advanced projects for extracting and processing graphite and beryllium — BGV Graphite and BGV Beryllium.
During the exhibition, BGV established its information zone, allowing attendees to explore the potential of the Ukrainian business group’s mining areas, inquire about collaboration, and propose their services for the company’s projects. Over the four days of the exhibition, the BGV team conducted more than 50 significant meetings with representatives from Canadian and international investment funds and financial institutions, serving as active partners for mining companies.
Also at the PDAC forum, the BGV team, led by board member and head of the mining and ore department Viktor Tanai, engaged in negotiations with Canadian engineering corporations that support major mining projects, as well as with companies serving as end consumers of products. Thus, BGV Group Management began forming a base of potential customers and partners to establish future supply chains of Ukrainian graphite in countries worldwide.
Following the PDAC exhibition, the investment group team has scheduled a series of meetings with international partners for the first half of 2025. These meetings aim to deepen cooperation, implement advanced technologies, and attract investments in BGV Group Management’s strategically important mining projects.
