BGV Group Management, founded by Gennadii Butkevych, has become a strategic partner of American University Kyiv (AUK) in expanding access to modern education across Ukraine. As part of the next phase of this partnership, the company has supported the launch of bachelor’s programs in Dnipro and played a key role in initiating 200 student grants totaling 200 million hryvnias for residents of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
This initiative enables young people from Dnipro and the surrounding areas to receive modern education in English without leaving their hometown — either in person at the Menorah Center or online via AUK’s cutting-edge digital platform.
“Education is one of BGV Group Management’s top investment priorities. We have supported AUK since its inception and are proud to have been backing the university for the past five years in its vital mission to expand access to high-quality, modern education in Ukraine,” said Sergii Voitsekhovskyi, a member of BGV Group Management’s board. “By creating world-class learning opportunities in Dnipro, we are helping talented youth gain the knowledge they need without leaving the country — and in doing so, we are investing in a new generation of leaders who will drive positive change in Ukraine.”
The grants cover the Bachelor of Business Administration program with a concentration in Retail Management, as well as the Master of Global Management program with a focus on Supply Chain Management — programs that are critically important to the development of the retail sector, one of BGV Group Management’s strategic focus areas.
This educational initiative has the potential to become a growth engine, nurturing a new generation of retail professionals — individuals capable of transforming businesses, driving innovation, and strengthening the economy. BGV Group Management already sees this effort as a powerful catalyst for the development of Ukraine’s retail ecosystem and a vital source of top-tier talent for the industry.
“BGV Group Management is a partner that believed in our university even before the first lecture was delivered. We are deeply grateful for their trust and continued support. Together, we are opening new horizons for Ukrainian youth and laying the foundation for a strong, educated, and independent Ukraine,” said Dan Rice, President of AUK.
Applications for one of the 200 study grants in Dnipro are now open.
