BGV Group Management was honored at the “2025 Sports Year Laureates” ceremony, an event that brought together athletes, coaches, sponsors, and partners from across the Zhytomyr region. In particular, the BGV Charitable Foundation was presented with the “Patron of the Year” award by the regional military administration, in recognition of its significant support for local sports initiatives.

For more than a decade, BGV Group Management, led by Gennadii Butkevych, has been dedicated to supporting the development of the Zhytomyr region. The company is actively involved in investing in the mining, recreational, educational, and sports sectors, enhancing the city’s energy efficiency, and carrying out a wide range of charitable initiatives.

During the ceremony, special recognition was given to patrons and partners for their contributions to supporting sports, developing the region’s sports infrastructure, and creating new opportunities for children and youth.

For BGV Group Management, supporting the Zhytomyr region is a strategic priority, with sports development serving as a cornerstone of the company’s activities. The group firmly believes that sports help build the character, resilience, and leadership qualities essential to Ukraine, both now and in the future.

The event honored the accomplishments of 65 top athletes and 61 coaches who proudly represented the Zhytomyr region and Ukraine on national and international stages in 2025. Despite the year’s challenges, these athletes continued to compete, persevere, and raise the Ukrainian flag around the globe.
