BGV Group of Companies has been Zhytomyr Polytechnic’s primary partner since 2023, providing nearly 10 million hryvnias in support last year and budgeting 10.2 million for next year.
A key partnership strand is the BGV Hardware Accelerator, a program for hardware startups. In the new academic year, BGV will commit nearly 2 million hryvnias to support the development and implementation of student research projects under the initiative.
At the initiative of Gennadii Butkevych, chairman of Zhytomyr Polytechnic’s supervisory board, BGV is also continuing to fund scholarships for high-achieving, active students.
The company also consistently invests in upgrading the university’s technological infrastructure. With BGV’s support, Zhytomyr Polytechnic will acquire a new tranche of modern equipment in 2025 to strengthen its material and technical base.
As part of the partnership, BGV also participates in holding technological hackathons and specialized competitions, supporting similar events organizationally and financially.
“We want universities not only to generate knowledge, but to be open to partnership with business and ready to experiment. It’s a collaboration where both sides – business and science – win,” said Sergii Voitsekhovskyi, a BGV Group Management board member.
