BGV expands educational focus, appointing Viktor Ievdokymov as Managing Director of Education, Science and Innovation
In January 2026, Viktor Ievdokymov, former rector of Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University, will join the BGV Group Management team as Managing Director of Education, Science, and Innovation.
In his new role, Viktor Ievdokymov will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic programs in education and science, fostering partnerships with specialized institutions, supporting talented youth, and expanding social and infrastructure projects within these fields. A key focus of his work will be to enhance the systematic approach and long-term impact of the company’s educational and scientific initiatives.
It should be noted that Viktor Ievdokymov is a higher education manager, a Doctor of Economics, a Doctor of Public Administration, and a Professor. From 2016 to 2025, he led Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University, where he was responsible for the institution’s strategic development, modernization of academic programs, advancement of international partnerships, and the implementation of comprehensive reforms in higher education. During his nine-year tenure, the university solidified its position among Ukraine’s leading higher education institutions and became a hub for practical educational and technological innovation. Under his leadership, the university undertook extensive modernization of its academic programs, expanded international collaboration, organized hackathons focused on technological solutions for national reconstruction, and launched acceleration programs to support startups.

In recent years, BGV has invested nearly UAH 150 million in educational initiatives and youth support, including programs to develop talented students, scholarship opportunities, and innovative projects. For the company, education and science are key pillars of Ukraine’s long-term development. In the context of the country’s post-war reconstruction, supporting the knowledge, leadership, and innovative potential of the new generation is regarded as critically important for Ukraine’s sustainable growth and competitiveness on the global stage.
