BGV Group Management was founded in 2015 to create innovative, advanced, high-performance businesses focused on creating products with high added value.
The company’s investor is Ukrainian businessman and philanthropist Gennadii Butkevych, who has built a large business in the country with a turnover of over $5 billion annually.
The investment group has five business directions, within which it develops mining, processing, energy efficiency, retail, and development projects.
Today, BGV has over 2,000 employees in nine regions of Ukraine, where the company’s facilities are located.
Investments in extraction and further processing of raw materials are one of the group’s main focuses. The company has invested over $100 million in Ukrainian mining projects for eight years, potentially leading Ukraine to become one of the world’s leaders in certain raw material areas.
BGV develops international partnerships and attracts foreign investments, working with partners worldwide, from Canada and the USA to Turkey, Egypt, the UAE, and the Indo-Pacific region.
The company is a member of the U.S. —Ukraine Business Council (USUBC) and the European Business Association.

FOCUS ON GRAPHITE
BGV actively invests in and develops the graphite industry in Ukraine. This is a landmark project for the state because Ukraine will enter the list of countries capable of producing a high-tech product — spherical graphite — an anode material for lithium-ion batteries. Today, the company has started project work. After the construction and commissioning of capacities, the Ukrainian factory will become the largest in Europe.

Since 2017, BGV has been investing in and developing the KOLO retail chain in Ukraine — these are small store formats or convenience stores. SUPPORT OF PROFESSIONAL AND CHILDREN'S SPORTS
For three years, BGV Group Management has been the general and exclusive partner of the Ukrainian football club “Polissya” — men’s and women’s teams. During this time, the club managed to enter the Ukrainian Premier League, the highest football division, for the first time in its entire existence.
The BGV company also invests significant funds in developing regional sports infrastructure — stadiums and training bases.
With the company’s support, the development of children’s and youth football increased.

INVESTMENT IN EDUCATION — INVESTMENT IN THE FUTURE
The BGV company acted as the first Ukrainian investor in American University Kyiv — a private university of the international level, created in partnership with Arizona State University recognized as the most innovative educational institution in the USA.
BET ON TECHNOLOGY
The company focuses on applying modern environmentally friendly technologies to protect the environment at all our enterprises.
BGV invested in a paper recycling and production plant. In 2022, the company’s products were certified according to the international FSC certificate. As a result, the company entered the European market. Significant investments in equipment made it possible to move to a full production cycle from ecologically renewable raw materials.
CHARITY AS MOTIVATION
In March 2022, the BGV investment group, with the support of the founder’s family, created the BGV Charity Fund to organize aid to Ukraine during the war and to rebuild the country after the victory. Among the achievements in just the first year of the fund’s work are:
₴583 million ($16 million) the total amount of aid for Ukraine that the BGV fund attracted (both in-kind and financial support)
315 trucks of assistance delivered from Europe to Ukraine — more than 6,000 tons of humanitarian cargo for Ukrainians
