American University Kyiv marks its fourth anniversary
For BGV Group Management, this milestone represents more than just an anniversary: it reflects a vision the company has embraced since the outset. Under the leadership of Gennadii Butkevych, BGV became the first private Ukrainian investor in American University Kyiv (AUK), driven by the conviction that a world-class university can thrive in Ukraine.
Today, AUK:
- is among the top 4 universities in Ukraine according to NMT results;
- educates 650 students;
- operates 2 schools, namely EPAM School of Digital Technologies and the School of Management;
- offers 8 bachelor’s and 3 master’s programs, with new programs launched each year;
- provides English-language instruction and the option of dual Ukrainian and American diplomas;
- implements global internship programs both in Ukraine and abroad;
- has attracted faculty from leading universities in the USA and Europe.
To date, 62 AUK students have graduated with dual degrees, and seven of them have received the Dean’s Circle Award from the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University.
AUK’s initiatives are especially noteworthy:
- AUK Talks – a platform for intellectual diplomacy featuring over 70 Ukrainian and international experts;
- AUK Leadership Club – a forum for cultivating leadership and hands-on management skills;
- Institute for Behavioral Studies and AI Research Center – recognized as a top 15 finalist in the 2025 Cintana Alliance Artificial Intelligence Challenge, selected from among 82 projects.
For BGV Group Management, the partnership with American University Kyiv represents a strategic investment in youth, leadership, and Ukraine’s rebuilding.
Appreciation is extended for the commitment to advancing quality education, innovation, and leadership in Ukraine. The partnership and American University Kyiv’s contributions to the nation’s future are recognized and valued. Wishing further growth, talented students, bold ideas, and continued success in the years ahead.
